A reverence for authenticity guided the process of opening up this grand Mission District Victorian. Raw structural steel is juxtaposed with original ceiling framing to create a dialog between old and new. Cabinet boxes are expressed at the face of the casework to allow the logic of their construction to become a part of the visual composition.
